eVisa required before travel
You cannot get a visa on arrival in Suriname. Apply for the eVisa online at least 1 week before your trip. Without it, you won't be allowed to board your flight.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for 6 months from the day you land in Suriname, not from your departure date. If it expires sooner, renew it before applying for the eVisa.

Apply for eVisa online
Go to the official Suriname eVisa website. Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3-5 business days.

Receive eVisa approval
You'll get an email with your eVisa approval. Print a copy and also save a PDF on your phone. The eVisa is linked to your passport number.

Arrive at Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (PBM)
After landing, head to immigration. Present your passport, printed eVisa, return ticket, and accommodation booking. The officer may ask a few questions about your trip. You'll get a stamp allowing entry for up to 90 days.
