Pay the eVisa fee

Wait for processing
Processing typically takes 3-5 business days, but can take longer. Apply at least 2 weeks before your planned departure to be safe. You'll receive an email with your eVisa approval or a request for more information.

Print or download your eVisa
Once approved, print a copy of your eVisa and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at Afghan immigration.

Arrive at Kabul International Airport
At the airport, proceed to the immigration hall. Present your passport and eVisa to the officer. They may ask about your purpose of visit and where you're staying. Answer clearly. After the stamp, you're in.

Transiting through Afghanistan
Transit visa required
