Belgian passport holders need an eVisa to visit Azerbaijan. The process is entirely online and takes about 3 working days. As of 2026, you can stay up to 30 days on a single-entry eVisa.

eVisa is single-entry only
The standard eVisa allows one entry. If you leave Azerbaijan (even for a day trip to Georgia), you'll need a new visa to re-enter.
Keep your eVisa printout with your passport
Immigration officers at Baku airport will ask to see the printed eVisa. A digital copy on your phone is not always accepted — have a paper backup.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisa.gov.az. Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo, and pay the fee (around $20–25 USD). Processing takes up to 3 working days. You'll receive the visa by email as a PDF.

Print or save your eVisa
Print a paper copy of the eVisa and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration in Baku.

Arrive at Heydar Aliyev International Airport (GYD)
After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control' for foreign nationals. Have your passport, eVisa printout, and return ticket ready. The officer will scan your passport and stamp you in. The whole process usually takes 5–10 minutes.

Collect your luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. There's a green channel for nothing to declare and a red channel for goods over $10,000 or restricted items.
