Romania entry requirements for Belgium passport holders
Belgian passport holders don't need a visa for short stays in Romania. From 2026, just bring your valid passport and you can stay up to 90 days within any 180-day period for tourism, business, or family visits.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |

| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure | Immigration officers at Romanian airports may ask for a return or onward ticket showing you leave before your visa-free period ends. Have a printed or digital copy ready. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Border officers occasionally ask where you're staying. A hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address is enough. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Sufficient cash or card balance | You may be asked to show you can support yourself during your stay. A bank statement or credit card showing access to around €100 per day of stay works. | Recommended |
