Apply for the e-visa online
Go to the official Chad e-visa portal (e-visa.td) and fill out the application. You'll need a digital passport photo, a scan of your passport bio page, and your travel details. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 5–10 business days, so apply at least 2 weeks before your trip.

Receive and print your visa approval
Once approved, you'll get a PDF visa approval letter by email. Print two copies — one to present at check-in and one to hand to immigration on arrival. Keep a digital copy on your phone as backup.

Arrive at N'Djamena International Airport
When you land, go to the immigration counter. Present your passport, printed visa approval, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation. They'll stamp your passport and let you through. The process is straightforward but can be slow — expect a 20–40 minute wait.
