Passport validity is critical
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Nigeria. If it's close to expiring, renew it before applying for the eVisa. Applications with insufficient validity will be rejected.
eVisa is single entry only

Apply for eVisa online
Go to portal.immigration.gov.ng, create an account, fill in the application form, upload your passport photo and passport data page, and pay the fee. Processing typically takes 3–5 business days.

Receive eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll get a PDF approval letter via email. Print a copy and save it on your phone. This is your entry permit.

Arrive at Nigerian airport
At Lagos (LOS) or Abuja (ABV) airport, proceed to the immigration desk. Present your passport, eVisa approval letter, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation. You'll be asked a few questions about your trip purpose.
