What happens at the border

Arrive at Budapest Airport (or other Schengen entry point)
You'll go through passport control. Join the 'Non-EU' queue. Have your passport, return ticket, and accommodation booking ready. The officer will check your passport validity and stamp it. The process usually takes 2–5 minutes.

Show your documents if asked
The officer may ask your purpose of visit and length of stay. Answer clearly. If you have a return ticket and accommodation, show them. They rarely ask for proof of funds, but be ready.
