Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Sri Lanka eVisa website (eta.gov.lk) and fill out the application form. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, and a digital photo. Pay the fee (around $35-$50 USD depending on the visa type) with a credit or debit card.

Receive your eVisa approval
Processing usually takes 1-2 business days, but can be longer during peak times. You'll get an email with your eVisa approval. Print a copy or save it on your phone — you'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration.

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB)
When you land in Colombo, follow the signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visas'. Have your passport, eVisa approval, and return ticket ready. The officer will check your documents, take your fingerprints, and stamp your passport. The whole process usually takes 15-30 minutes.

Collect your luggage and exit
After clearing immigration, proceed to baggage claim, then through customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel. You're now in Sri Lanka!
