Passport validity is strictly enforced

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB)
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival'. There's a dedicated counter for visa-on-arrival applicants. Join the queue, fill out the arrival card (usually handed out on the plane), and present your passport, return ticket, and accommodation details.
