eVisa is mandatory — no visa on arrival
Brunei passport holders cannot get a visa on arrival in Mongolia. You must apply and receive approval before you fly. The only exception is if you're transiting through Ulaanbaatar without leaving the airport.
Passport validity counts from entry date
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you arrive in Mongolia, not from your departure date. If it's close, renew before applying.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisa.mn, fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50 USD) with a credit card. Processing takes 3–5 business days.

Receive and save your eVisa PDF
Check your email (and spam folder) for the approval. Download the PDF and save it on your phone or print a copy. You'll need to show it at immigration in Ulaanbaatar.

Arrive at Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN)
After landing, follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' immigration. Have your passport, eVisa PDF, and return ticket ready. The officer will stamp you in — no additional forms needed.
