Arrive at Maputo International Airport (or other entry point)
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Passport Control'. There's usually one queue for foreigners. Have your passport and return ticket ready.

Present documents to immigration officer
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask your purpose of visit, how long you're staying, and where you're staying. Answer clearly. They'll stamp your passport with a 30-day entry permit.

Collect your luggage and proceed to customs
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel. Customs is usually a green channel for most travellers. You may be asked to open bags randomly.

Exit the arrivals hall
Once through customs, you're free to leave. There are ATMs and currency exchange desks in the arrivals area if you need local cash (Mozambican metical).
