Apply early — no walk-in visas
Ukraine does not offer visa-on-arrival for Ivory Coast passport holders. You must apply and receive approval before you travel. Start the process at least 2 weeks ahead.

Apply for the e-Visa online
Go to evisa.gov.ua/en/, fill in the application form, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $20-35 USD depending on processing speed). Submit and wait for approval — typically 5-10 business days.

Prepare your documents
Print or save on your phone: the approved e-Visa, your passport, return ticket, and first-night accommodation confirmation. Keep them together in a folder or a clear phone album.

Arrive at the airport in Ukraine
At Kyiv Boryspil or Lviv airport, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and e-Visa. The officer will check your documents, may ask for your return ticket or hotel address, then stamp you in. It usually takes 5-10 minutes.
