What happens at the border

1
Arrive at the visa-on-arrival counter
After deplaning at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (DAC) in Dhaka, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Foreigners'. There's a dedicated counter before immigration. Queue up, fill out the arrival card (available at the counter or on the plane).
2
Submit documents and pay fee
Hand over your passport, completed arrival card, and return ticket (if asked). Pay the visa fee in cash — USD is preferred, but some counters accept euros or pounds. The fee is about $50 USD for a 30-day single-entry visa. Keep the receipt.
3
Get visa sticker and proceed to immigration
The officer will paste a visa sticker into your passport, stamp it, and hand it back. Then walk to the immigration counters for passport control. Show your passport with the new visa. That's it — you're in.
