Go to the official Burkina Faso eVisa website (visaburkina.bf). Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 3-5 business days.

Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF by email. Print at least one copy and save a digital version on your phone. You'll need to show it at the airport check-in and upon arrival in Burkina Faso.

Arrive at Ouagadougou Airport
At Ouagadougou International Airport (OUA), go to immigration. Present your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. They may ask for your accommodation address. The process is straightforward but can be slow — expect 20-40 minutes.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, collect your bags from the carousel. There are no additional checks for most travellers. You're free to leave the airport.
