What happens at the border

1
Arrival at Nadi or Suva airport
You'll land at Nadi International Airport (most common) or Suva's Nausori Airport. Follow signs to 'Immigration' — it's usually a short walk from the gate.
2
Queue at immigration counter
Join the queue for foreign passports. Have your passport, return ticket (screenshot or printed), and accommodation booking ready. The officer will ask your purpose of visit and how long you're staying.
3
Get your entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with a visitor permit valid for up to 120 days. They may write the allowed stay on the stamp. Keep the stamp visible — you'll need it when leaving.
4
Baggage claim and customs
After immigration, collect your bags. Customs may ask about food, plants, or large amounts of cash. Declare anything over FJD 10,000 or restricted items.
