Monaco is not in Schengen — but entry rules are the same
Monaco is a separate country but has an open border with France. French immigration officers handle entry for Monaco. The 90-day limit applies to the entire Schengen area, including Monaco. So if you've already spent 60 days in France, you only have 30 days left for Monaco.
No airport in Monaco — fly to Nice, France
The nearest airport is Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE) in France. From there, take the train (TER, 40 min, ~€10), bus (100, 50 min, ~€1.50), or taxi (30 min, ~€80–100). There's no border check between France and Monaco.

What happens at the border

1
Arrive at the border
Monaco has no airport. You'll fly into Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (France), then take a bus, train, or taxi to Monaco. French border police handle entry for Monaco. At Nice airport, join the 'Non-EU' queue. Have your passport and return ticket ready.
2
Present your documents
Hand over your passport. The officer may ask: 'How long are you staying?', 'Where are you staying?', 'When do you leave?'. Answer clearly. They may stamp your passport. No visa is needed.
3
Collect your luggage and proceed
After the passport check, collect your bags and walk through customs. There's no additional check for Monaco. From Nice airport, the train to Monaco takes about 40 minutes.

No. The 90-day limit is strict and cannot be extended for tourism. If you want to stay longer, you'd need to apply for a long-stay visa from France before travelling — that's a different process.
Your passport (valid 6+ months), a return or onward ticket, and sometimes proof of accommodation. Travel insurance is not mandatory but smart to have.
No. Monaco uses the French/Schengen visa system. If you hold a valid Schengen visa (from any Schengen country), you can enter Monaco. Chileans don't need a visa for short stays anyway.
You'll likely be denied boarding by the airline or refused entry at the border. Renew your passport before travelling.
Technically no — tourist status doesn't permit work. But short-term remote work (answering emails, occasional calls) is generally tolerated. If you plan to work for a Monaco-based company, you need a work permit.
Zero. No visa fee, no entry fee. You just need your passport and a return ticket. Travel insurance and accommodation are extra but not mandatory.
