Your passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Albania. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Albanian law, but airlines may enforce a 3-month rule — check with your carrier.Required

Proof of departure
Immigration at Tirana International Airport routinely asks for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing you leave Albania within your eVisa's validity.Required

Border officers may ask where you're staying. A hotel confirmation or a letter from a host with their address and contact number is enough.Recommended

You may be asked to show you have enough money for your stay. Carry a bank statement or credit card showing access to at least €100 per day of your trip.Recommended
No visa on arrival for Cameroonians
You cannot get a visa at the airport or land border. The eVisa must be approved before you travel. If you arrive without one, you'll be refused entry and sent back.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your eVisa PDF, passport scan, and booking confirmations on your phone and email. If you lose your printed documents, you can still show them digitally.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Albanian eVisa website, fill in your details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3–7 business days, but can be longer during peak season.
2
Receive your eVisa approval
You'll get an email with the approved eVisa document. Print a copy and also save a PDF on your phone. The eVisa is linked to your passport number.
3
Arrive at Albanian border control
At Tirana International Airport (TIA) or any land border, join the 'All Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and the printed eVisa. The officer will stamp you in. Have your return ticket and accommodation confirmation ready in case they ask.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After the stamp, proceed to baggage claim (if flying) and then customs. There are no additional forms to fill. You're free to enter Albania.
