Visa required — no exceptions
Cameroonian passport holders cannot enter Taiwan without a pre-approved visa. There is no visa waiver, visa on arrival, or e-visa for tourism. Apply well in advance.

Apply for your visa online
Go to visawebapp.boca.gov.tw, create an account, and fill out the visa application form. Upload a digital passport photo, a copy of your passport data page, and any other required documents (like flight itinerary or hotel booking). Pay the visa fee online (around TWD 1,600–3,200, depending on visa type). Submit and wait for processing — typically 5–10 working days, but can take longer.

Receive and print your visa
Once approved, you'll receive a visa approval notice or e-visa by email. Print it out and keep it with your passport. If you get a physical visa sticker, it will be mailed to you or you may need to collect it from the nearest Taiwan embassy or consulate.

Prepare for arrival at Taiwan airport
At Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) or Kaohsiung International Airport (KHH), proceed to the immigration queue for foreign passport holders. Have your passport, printed visa, return ticket, and accommodation booking ready. The officer may ask about your travel plans — answer clearly. After passport control, collect your luggage and proceed through customs.
