Cameroonian passport holders need a visa to enter Ukraine in 2026. You must apply for an eVisa online before you travel — there is no visa-on-arrival option. Plan ahead, as processing can take up to a week.

eVisa only — no visa on arrival
Cameroonian passport holders cannot get a visa at the border. You must apply and receive approval before you travel. Last-minute applications may not be processed in time.
Registration required after 3 days
If you're staying in a private home (not a hotel), your host must register you with the local migration office within 3 working days. Hotels do this automatically. Failing to register can cause problems when you leave.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisa.gov.ua/en/, fill in the application form, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $20–$30 depending on processing time). Wait for approval — usually 3–7 business days.

Pack your documents
Print or save on your phone: the eVisa approval email, your return/onward ticket, accommodation booking, and travel insurance certificate. Keep them together in a folder or a clear digital folder.

Arrive at a Ukrainian airport or land border
At Boryspil (Kyiv), Lviv, or Odesa airports, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport, eVisa printout (or show on phone), and return ticket if asked. The officer will stamp your passport — that's your entry.

Register your stay (if staying more than 3 days)
If you're staying in a hotel, they'll register you automatically. If you're in a private apartment, your host must register you with the local migration office within 3 working days. Ask your host to confirm they've done it.
