Arrive at Hamad International Airport
After landing in Doha, follow the signs to passport control. There are separate queues for GCC residents and other nationalities — as a Cypriot, you'll use the 'All Passports' or 'Foreigners' queue.

Present your passport at the immigration counter
Hand over your passport to the officer. They'll check your details, verify your passport validity, and may ask about your purpose of visit and where you're staying. Answer clearly and confidently.

Receive your visa on arrival stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with a visa on arrival, valid for 30 days. This is free of charge — no payment is required. You'll then proceed to baggage claim and customs.

Exit the arrivals hall
After collecting your luggage, you'll pass through customs. There's usually nothing to declare for personal items. Then you're free to enter Qatar.
