Go to the Immigration New Zealand website and fill out the Visitor Visa application form. You'll need to create a RealMe account. The form asks about your travel history, purpose of visit, and personal details.

The fee is NZD 211 (~USD 130) for a single-entry or multiple-entry visa. Pay online by credit card. You'll receive a confirmation email with your application number.

Wait for processing
Processing typically takes 20–30 days. You can check the status online using your application number. If additional documents are needed, Immigration New Zealand will contact you by email.

Receive your visa and travel
Once approved, you'll get a visa label or an eVisa. Print a copy and keep it with your passport. When you arrive at Auckland, Christchurch, or Wellington airport, go to the immigration counter. Have your passport, visa, return ticket, and proof of funds ready. The officer will stamp you in for up to 9 months.
