Apply early — processing can be slow
The eVisa portal sometimes takes the full 7 working days, especially during peak travel seasons. Don't wait until the last minute. Apply at least 2 weeks before your departure.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your eVisa PDF, passport scan, and flight booking in a cloud folder (Google Drive, iCloud) and on your phone. If you lose the printout, you can still show the digital copy at immigration.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Pakistan eVisa portal (visa.nadra.gov.pk) and fill out the application. You'll need to upload a passport photo, a scan of your passport bio page, and your accommodation details. Pay the fee online — it's around $60–$80 depending on your nationality. Processing takes 3–7 working days.

Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa PDF. Print at least two copies — one to show at check-in and one for immigration on arrival. Also save a digital copy on your phone.

Arrive at a Pakistani airport
Most travellers fly into Islamabad (ISB), Karachi (KHI), or Lahore (LHE). At immigration, present your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in — usually for up to 30 days.
