Passport validity is strictly enforced

Most German travellers fly into Windhoek's main airport. After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control'. The queue can be slow — expect 20–40 minutes during peak hours.

Present your documents
Hand over your passport and any supporting documents (return ticket, accommodation booking) if asked. The officer will check your passport validity and stamp you in. No visa fee is charged.

Collect your bags and proceed
After immigration, head to baggage claim, then customs. There's usually nothing to declare for personal items. You're free to enter Namibia.
