Armenia entry requirements for Algeria passport holders
Algerian passport holders must get an eVisa to enter Armenia. You apply entirely online before traveling, and approval usually takes a few days. As of 2026, this is the only way to get a visa for tourism or short visits.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| eVisa application Apply before travel | Apply for an Armenian eVisa at evisa.mfa.am at least 3 working days before departure. The eVisa costs 8 USD for single entry (up to 21 days) or 40 USD for multiple entry (up to 120 days). Print the approval email and carry it with your passport — border officers at Zvartnots Airport will scan the QR code on it.Apply for eVisa | Required |
| Valid passport Must be valid for entire stay | Your Algerian passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Armenia. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Armenian law, but airlines may enforce 6 months — check with your carrier before flying. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Recommended | Border officers at Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport rarely ask for a return ticket, but budget airlines like Wizz Air or Pegasus may check it at check-in. Have a printed or digital onward booking ready. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Recommended | Hotel booking confirmations or an invitation letter from a host are not mandatory for entry, but having one speeds up the immigration interview. Officers may ask where you're staying — have the address and phone number handy. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Recommended | Armenian law requires visitors to show at least 50,000 AMD (roughly 130 USD) per day of stay, but this is almost never checked in practice. Carry a credit card and some cash (AMD or USD) just in case. | Recommended |
