Apply for your eVisa online
Go to the official Bhutan eVisa website and fill out the application. You'll need your passport details, travel dates, and accommodation info. Upload a digital passport photo and pay the visa fee (around $40 USD). Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.

Receive your eVisa approval letter
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa approval letter. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll show this at check-in and upon arrival in Bhutan.

Arrive at Paro International Airport
Paro is Bhutan's only international airport. After landing, follow signs to immigration. Present your passport, eVisa approval letter, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in — the whole process takes about 10–15 minutes.

Collect your luggage and exit
After immigration, grab your bags from the carousel and walk through customs. There's usually no baggage check unless you're carrying restricted items. Then you're free to meet your driver or guide.
