Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your Egyptian passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Kyrgyzstan. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by Kyrgyz law, but airlines may enforce 6 months — check with your carrier before flying.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure from Kyrgyzstan
Immigration officers at Bishkek Manas Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing you leave within your eVisa validity period.Recommended
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Carry a printed hotel reservation or a letter of invitation from your host. Border officers occasionally ask for it, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can cover your stay
Have a bank statement or cash equivalent to roughly $50 USD per day of your trip. Immigration rarely checks, but having it ready avoids delays.Recommended
eVisa is not extendable
You cannot extend your stay beyond the eVisa's validity. Plan your trip accordingly and leave before it expires.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your eVisa PDF, passport scan, and booking confirmations on your phone and in cloud storage. If you lose your phone, you'll still have access.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to https://evisa.e-gov.kg/ and fill out the application. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50-60 USD) with a credit card. Processing takes about 3 business days. You'll receive the eVisa by email.
2
Print or save the eVisa confirmation
Once approved, print a copy and also save the PDF on your phone. Immigration at Manas International Airport in Bishkek will check it before they stamp you in.
3
Prepare your documents for arrival
Have your passport, eVisa printout, return ticket, and accommodation booking ready. At the immigration counter, hand over your passport and eVisa. They may ask for the return ticket and hotel address. Answer clearly and briefly.
4
Collect your luggage and exit
After the passport check, collect your bags from the carousel. There's usually a customs declaration form if you're carrying large amounts of cash or goods. Otherwise, walk through the green channel.
