Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Ecuador eVisa portal. Fill in your personal details, upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee with a credit card. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.

Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF via email. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and at immigration.

Prepare your documents for departure
Before heading to the airport, gather: your printed eVisa, passport (6+ months validity), return/onward ticket, first night accommodation booking, and travel insurance if you have it. Keep them in your carry-on.

Arrive at Ecuador immigration
At Quito (UIO) or Guayaquil (GYE) airport, follow signs to 'Extranjeros' (Foreigners). Hand over your passport and eVisa. The officer will stamp you in. They may ask to see your return ticket and accommodation — have them ready.
