Hand over your passport (with 6+ months validity and a blank page), your return/onward ticket (printed or on phone), and your accommodation booking. The officer will stamp you in.

Receive entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with a 15-day visa-free entry. Check the stamp says '15 days' before leaving the counter. No fee is charged for visa-free entry.

Collect baggage and exit
After immigration, collect your luggage from the carousel, then proceed through customs (usually green channel for nothing to declare). You're free to enter Laos.
