Passport validity counts from entry date

Arrive at Manas International Airport (Bishkek)
Most French travellers fly into Bishkek. After landing, follow signs to 'Passport Control' for foreign nationals. There are separate queues for Kyrgyz citizens and foreigners.

Present your passport and boarding pass
Hand over your passport (open to the photo page) and your boarding pass. The officer will check your passport validity, scan it, and ask a few questions — usually 'How long are you staying?' and 'Where are you staying?' Answer clearly.

Receive your entry stamp
The officer stamps your passport with the date of entry and the allowed stay (60 days). Check the stamp before walking away — make sure the dates are correct.

Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, head to baggage claim, then customs. There's a green channel for nothing to declare and a red channel for goods over $10,000 or restricted items.
