Apply for a Schengen visa at the Lithuanian embassy
Visit the Lithuanian embassy in Accra (or the consulate handling Lithuania in Ghana). Submit your application, passport, photos, travel insurance, flight and hotel bookings, bank statements, and a completed form. Pay the visa fee (€80 for adults, €40 for children 6–12, free for under-6s). Processing takes 15–30 days.

Wait for visa approval and collect your passport
Once approved, your passport will have a visa sticker. Check the validity dates and number of entries. If rejected, you’ll get a formal letter with reasons — you can appeal within 30 days.

Arrive at a Lithuanian airport or border crossing
At Vilnius Airport (VNO) or any Schengen entry point, join the 'All Passports' queue. Hand over your passport with the visa sticker. The officer may ask for your return ticket and accommodation proof. Answer clearly — they’re checking you match your visa purpose.

Get your passport stamped
The officer will stamp your passport with the entry date. This stamp shows how long you can stay (up to 90 days in any 180-day period). Keep the stamp visible — don’t cover it with other documents.
