If requested, present your return ticket, accommodation booking, and proof of funds. Keep them in an easily accessible pocket, not buried in your bag.

Receive entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the date of entry. This stamp marks the start of your 90-day Schengen stay. Check the stamp before walking away.

Collect luggage and exit
After passport control, proceed to baggage claim, then customs. Unless you have something to declare, walk through the green 'Nothing to Declare' channel.

You can stay up to 90 days within any rolling 180-day period. This is the standard Schengen Area rule. If you stay longer, you'll need a residence permit or long-stay visa.
Extensions are not normally granted for tourism. If you need to stay longer for work, study, or family reunification, you must apply for a long-stay visa or residence permit before your 90 days expire.
Overstaying can result in fines, a ban from the Schengen Area, and difficulties entering other EU countries. If you realise you'll overstay, contact the Luxembourg immigration office (Direction de l'Immigration) immediately.
You still need proof that you will leave the Schengen Area before your 90 days are up. A train or bus ticket out of the Schengen zone works. If you're driving, a written itinerary showing your planned exit date may be accepted.
It is not mandatory for entry, but it is strongly recommended. Medical costs in Luxembourg are high, and travel insurance covers hospital stays, repatriation, and trip cancellations.
