Cash only for visa on arrival

Arrive at Kigali International Airport
After landing, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'Visa on Arrival'. The queue is usually straightforward. Have your passport, boarding pass, and return ticket ready.

Fill out the visa application form
You'll be given a small form to complete — name, passport number, flight details, accommodation address. Fill it in while queuing to save time.

Pay the visa fee
Hand over your passport, form, and cash ($30 USD single entry / $50 USD multiple entry). The officer will issue a receipt and stamp your passport.

Proceed to passport control
After payment, go to the passport control desk. The officer will check your passport, visa, and may ask about your return ticket and accommodation. Answer clearly.

Collect your luggage and exit
Once stamped, collect your bags from baggage claim and walk through customs. No further checks unless you're carrying restricted items.
