Sudan entry requirements for Hungary passport holders
Hungarian passport holders need a visa to enter Sudan. You must arrange this before you travel — there is no visa-on-arrival option for Hungarian citizens. Plan ahead and apply through the Sudanese embassy or consulate, as there is no eVisa system available for your nationality.

| Proof of fundsWhile not always requested, having proof of funds can help avoid issues at immigration. Transiting through Sudan
Hungarian citizens transiting through Sudan generally require a visa, even for airside transit, unless they remain in the international transit area and have a confirmed onward ticket within 24 hours. However, due to changing regulations, it is strongly advised to obtain a transit visa before travel.
- Passengers with a confirmed onward ticket and staying airside for less than 24 hours may be exempt, but this is not guaranteed.
- Diplomatic or official passport holders may have different rules.
