Arrive at UK border
At any UK airport (Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, etc.), follow signs to 'UK Border' or 'Arrivals'. Join the queue for 'All Other Passports' — Irish passports are not eligible for eGates in the UK.

Present your passport
Hand your passport to the border officer. They will ask a few questions: purpose of visit, how long you're staying, and where you're staying. Answer clearly and honestly.

Show supporting documents if asked
If requested, show your return ticket, accommodation booking, or proof of funds. Keep these in an easily accessible pocket or phone wallet.

Receive entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the date of entry and the number of days you're allowed to stay (usually up to 6 months). You're free to enter.
