Singapore entry requirements for Ireland passport holders
Irish passport holders don't need a visa for tourism or business visits to Singapore. You can stay up to 90 days per visit. This policy has been in place since 2026 and remains unchanged.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your Irish passport needs to be valid for your entire stay in Singapore. Singapore does not enforce the 6-month validity rule for Irish passport holders, but your airline might check it at check-in. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Singapore | Immigration officers routinely ask for a return or onward ticket at the counter. Have your flight booking ready on your phone or printed — they check this before stamping you in. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host address | Carry a printed or digital copy of your hotel reservation or the address where you're staying. Officers rarely ask for it, but having it ready avoids delays. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Sufficient cash or bank statement | Have access to at least 1,000 SGD or equivalent for your stay. Immigration can ask to see cash, a credit card, or a recent bank statement — most travellers never get asked, but it's worth carrying a card with a decent limit. | Recommended |
