Kosovo entry requirements for Iceland passport holders
Icelandic passport holders can enter Kosovo without a visa for stays up to 90 days within a 180-day period, a policy in effect since 2024. Ensure your passport is valid for at least six months from your date of entry.
Entry requirements
| Requirement | Details | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Valid passport Must be valid for the duration of your stay | Your Icelandic passport needs to be valid for the entire time you plan to be in Kosovo. No minimum validity beyond your departure date is required by Kosovo immigration, but your airline may enforce a 6-month rule — check with them before flying. | Required |
| Return or onward ticket Proof of departure from Kosovo | Border officers at Pristina International Airport routinely ask for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy of your flight booking out of Kosovo ready — they check this before stamping you in. | Recommended |
| Proof of accommodation Hotel booking or host invitation | Immigration may ask where you're staying, especially if you arrive without a clear itinerary. A hotel confirmation or a letter from a host with their address is enough — keep it on your phone or printed. | Recommended |
| Proof of funds Show you can support yourself | Kosovo doesn't publish a fixed minimum, but officers can ask for proof you have enough cash or card access for your stay. A recent bank statement or a credit card with a decent limit works fine. | Recommended |
