Cash is king in DR Congo

Apply for eVisa online
Go to visa.gouv.cd, fill out the application form, upload your passport scan and photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 2–5 business days. You'll receive the eVisa by email.

Prepare your documents
Print or save the eVisa approval, your flight booking, hotel confirmation, and passport. Keep them in an easily accessible folder or phone gallery.

Arrive at N'djili Airport (Kinshasa)
After landing, proceed to the immigration hall. Join the queue for foreign passports. Present your passport, eVisa, and return ticket. The officer may ask a few questions about your stay. Once stamped, you're free to enter.

After immigration, go to baggage claim, then customs. Declare any large amounts of cash or restricted items. Exit into the arrivals hall.
