Land at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport
After deplaning, follow signs to 'Visa on Arrival' or 'Immigration'. The counter is before passport control, usually on the left side of the hall.

Fill out the visa application form
Grab a small white form from the counter. Fill in your passport details, flight info, and hotel address. Keep it simple — no need for a detailed itinerary.

Pay the visa fee in cash
Hand the form and your passport to the officer. Pay the fee in USD (exact change helps). You'll get a receipt and a sticker placed in your passport.

Proceed to passport control
Join the queue for foreign passports. Present your passport with the visa sticker, your boarding pass, and (if asked) your return ticket and hotel booking. The officer will stamp you in.
