Lebanese passport holders need an eVisa to enter Albania in 2026. The eVisa is valid for tourism or business stays and must be obtained before travel. You'll also need a passport valid for at least six months from your entry date and proof of onward travel.

Entry requirements

RequirementDetailsStatus
eVisa application
Apply before travel
Apply for an Albania eVisa at the official portal before departure. Processing takes 3–5 business days. Print the approval email and carry it with your passport — border officers may ask to see it.Apply for eVisaRequired
Valid passport
Must be valid for entire stay
Your passport must be valid for the full duration of your stay in Albania. No minimum validity beyond departure is required by law, but airlines may enforce 3–6 months — check with your carrier.Required
Return or onward ticket
Proof of departure
Immigration at Tirana Airport routinely asks for a return or onward ticket. Have a printed or digital copy ready showing your exit from Albania or the Schengen zone.Required
Proof of accommodation
Hotel booking or host invitation
Keep a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host handy. Border officers rarely check it, but having it avoids delays if asked.Recommended
Proof of funds
Show you can support yourself
Carry evidence of sufficient funds — a bank statement or credit card showing at least €50 per day of stay. Officers almost never ask, but it's a legal requirement.Recommended
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Albania. If it expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. Check your passport now.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your eVisa, passport, and booking confirmations as PDFs on your phone and in cloud storage. If you lose your printed copies, you can still show them at immigration.

What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Albanian eVisa website, fill out the application form, upload a digital passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.
2
Print your eVisa and gather documents
Once approved, print a copy of the eVisa approval email. Also print or save on your phone: your return ticket, first night hotel booking, and travel insurance certificate.
3
Arrive at Tirana International Airport (TIA)
At passport control, hand over your passport and the printed eVisa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel booking. Answer clearly and confidently. The process usually takes 2–5 minutes.
4
Receive your entry stamp
The officer will stamp your passport with the date of entry. Check the stamp before leaving the counter. Your eVisa allows a stay of up to 90 days within a 180-day period.
