Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended departure date from Bangladesh. Airlines check this at check-in, and immigration at Dhaka airport enforces it strictly.Required

Proof of departure from Bangladesh
Immigration officers at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport routinely ask for a confirmed onward or return ticket. Have a printed copy or a screenshot ready on your phone.Required

Officers may ask where you're staying. Have a hotel confirmation or a letter from your host with their address and phone number ready.Recommended

You cannot get a visa at the airport. Apply for the e-Visa online at least a week before your trip. Arriving without one means you'll be sent back.

Apply for e-Visa online
