Passport validity is strictly enforced
Turkish immigration checks passport validity down to the day. If your passport expires in less than 6 months from your entry date, you will be refused boarding by the airline or denied entry at the border. No exceptions.
90-day limit is cumulative
The 90-day visa-free stay applies within any rolling 180-day period. If you've already spent 30 days in Turkey, you have 60 days left — even if you leave and come back. Keep track of your days.

Arrive at Turkish immigration
At any Turkish airport (Istanbul, Antalya, etc.), follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' or 'All Passports'. Join the queue for non-Turkish citizens.

Present your passport
Hand over your passport. The officer will check your passport validity, scan it, and stamp your entry. No forms to fill, no fee to pay.

Answer any questions
The officer may ask how long you're staying, where you're staying, or to see your return ticket. Answer honestly and calmly.

Collect your passport and proceed
Once stamped, take your passport and head to baggage claim. You're officially in Turkey.
