eVisa only at airports
The eVisa is only valid for entry at Yangon, Mandalay, and Naypyidaw airports. You cannot use it at land borders. If you plan to enter overland, you need a different visa.
Keep a printed copy of your eVisa
Immigration officers may ask for a printed copy. It's also a good backup if your phone battery dies. Print two copies — one for your bag, one for your wallet.

Go to evisa.moip.gov.mm. Fill in your personal details, passport info, and travel dates. Upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee with a credit or debit card.

Wait for approval
Processing usually takes 3-5 business days. You'll receive an email with your eVisa approval. Print a copy and save a digital version on your phone.

Arrive at the airport in Myanmar
At Yangon, Mandalay, or Naypyidaw airport, go to the immigration counter. Present your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. The officer will stamp you in. Keep your boarding pass handy.

Show your accommodation and insurance if asked
Immigration rarely asks for these, but have them ready on your phone. If you're staying at a hotel, the booking confirmation is enough.
