What happens at the border

1
Apply for the eVisa online
Go to evisa.e-gov.kg, fill in your details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50–$80 depending on processing speed). Processing takes 3–5 business days for standard, 1–2 days for urgent.
2
Receive and save your eVisa
You'll get an email with the approved eVisa as a PDF. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. Immigration at Manas International Airport in Bishkek will ask to see it.
3
Prepare your documents for arrival
Have your passport, eVisa, return ticket, and hotel booking ready. Keep them in your hand luggage — you'll need them at passport control.
4
Arrive and go through immigration
At Manas Airport, join the 'Foreign Passports' queue. Hand over your passport and eVisa. The officer may ask a few questions (purpose of visit, where you're staying). Answer clearly. You'll get an entry stamp valid for up to 30 days.
