Print your visa — don't rely on your phone

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to https://evisa.immigration.gov.pg/ and create an account. Fill in the application form with your personal details, passport information, and travel dates. Upload a recent passport photo and a clear scan of your passport bio page. Pay the visa fee online with a credit or debit card — the portal accepts major cards. Save the application reference number.

Wait for approval and print your visa
Once approved, you'll receive an email with your eVisa. Print two copies — one to carry with your passport and one to keep in your luggage as backup. Check that your name and passport number match exactly.

Check in at the airport
At check-in, the airline staff will ask to see your passport and your printed eVisa. They may also ask for your return ticket. Keep these documents in your hand luggage, not checked baggage.
