Apply for eVisa online
Go to evisa.mn, fill in your details, upload a passport-style photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $50 USD) with a credit card. Processing takes 3–5 business days. You'll get the eVisa by email — print it or save a PDF on your phone.

Prepare your documents
Before you fly, gather: passport with 6+ months validity, eVisa approval, return ticket, first night hotel booking, and travel insurance. Keep digital copies on your phone and printed backups in your carry-on.

Arrival at Ulaanbaatar (Chinggis Khaan International Airport)
After landing, follow signs to 'Foreign Passports' immigration. Hand over your passport and eVisa printout (or show on phone). The officer will check your documents, ask a couple of questions (purpose of visit, where staying), then stamp you in. The whole process takes 5–10 minutes if you have everything ready.

Collect luggage and exit
After immigration, pick up your bags from the carousel, then walk through customs. There's a green channel for nothing to declare and a red channel for goods over $500 USD or restricted items. Keep your passport and eVisa handy until you're outside.
