Prepare your documents
Gather all required documents: valid passport (6+ months validity), completed visa application form, recent passport photos, travel insurance, flight itinerary, hotel bookings, bank statements, and proof of employment or leave.

Submit your application
Submit your application in person at the Belgian embassy in Yangon or the designated visa application center (VFS Global). You must book an appointment in advance. Bring all original documents plus photocopies.

Pay the visa fee
Pay the Schengen visa fee (€80 for adults, reduced for children). Fees are non-refundable even if the visa is denied. Payment is usually by bank transfer or at the center.

Attend the biometrics appointment
At the application center, your fingerprints and photo will be taken. This is mandatory for all first-time applicants. Biometrics are valid for 5 years.

Wait for processing
Standard processing takes 15 calendar days, but can extend to 45 days during peak seasons. Do not book non-refundable flights until you have the visa.

Collect your passport
