Apply for the eVisa
Go to evisa.gov.et. Fill in your personal and passport details, upload a passport photo, and pay the fee. Processing usually takes 1-3 business days.

Receive and Print Approval
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll show this at immigration in Addis Ababa Bole International Airport.

Before you fly, gather your passport, eVisa printout, return ticket, and hotel booking. Keep them in your carry-on for easy access.

Arrive at Bole International Airport
When you land in Addis Ababa, follow signs to immigration. Present your passport and eVisa. The officer may ask for your return ticket and hotel address. Answer clearly and you'll be through in a few minutes.

Collect Your Baggage and Exit
After immigration, collect your luggage from the carousel, then proceed through customs. If you have nothing to declare, use the green channel.
