Passport validity is strict
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the day you enter Pakistan. If it's even one day short, your eVisa will be rejected. Check your passport's expiry date before applying.
Keep digital copies of everything
Save your eVisa PDF, passport bio page, return ticket, and hotel booking as screenshots on your phone. Also email them to yourself. If you lose your printed copies, you can still show them on your phone.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the official Pakistan eVisa portal (visa.nadra.gov.pk) and fill out the application. Upload a scanned copy of your passport bio page, a recent passport-sized photo, and your travel itinerary. Pay the fee online with a credit or debit card. Processing usually takes 3–5 business days.

Receive and print your eVisa
Once approved, you'll get an email with your eVisa PDF. Print a copy and save a digital version on your phone. You'll need to show it at immigration on arrival.

Arrive at a Pakistani airport
Most travellers fly into Islamabad (ISB), Karachi (KHI), or Lahore (LHE). At immigration, join the 'Foreigners' queue. Hand over your passport, printed eVisa, and return ticket. The officer may ask about your accommodation and purpose of visit. Answer clearly and calmly.

Get your passport stamped
