Mongolian passport holders cannot enter Botswana without an approved eVisa. There is no visa-on-arrival, and airline staff will check your eVisa before letting you board. Apply early.
Passport validity is strictly enforced
Botswana requires your passport to be valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry. If your passport expires sooner, you will be denied boarding. Renew your passport before applying for the eVisa.

Apply for the eVisa online
Go to the Botswana eVisa portal (evisa.gov.bw). Fill in your personal details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee (around $30–$50 USD depending on processing speed). Submit and wait for approval — usually 2–5 business days.

Print or save your eVisa approval
Once approved, you'll receive a PDF by email. Print a copy and also save it on your phone. You'll show this at immigration in Botswana.

Arrive at Sir Seretse Khama International Airport (GBE) or other entry point
