Apply early — no visa on arrival
There is no visa-on-arrival for Mongolian passport holders. You must have an approved e-visa before you fly. Apply at least a week in advance.
Yellow fever certificate is mandatory
You will be asked for your yellow fever vaccination certificate at immigration. Without it, you may be denied entry or forced to get vaccinated on the spot at your own expense.

Apply for e-visa online
Go to the official Côte d'Ivoire e-visa portal (snedai.com). Fill in your personal and travel details, upload a passport photo and a scan of your passport bio page. Pay the fee online. Processing usually takes 2–5 business days.

Receive and print your e-visa
Once approved, you'll get a PDF by email. Print at least one copy and save a digital version on your phone. You'll need to show it at check-in and on arrival.

Prepare documents for travel
Before you leave, gather: passport (6+ months validity), printed e-visa, return/onward ticket, first night hotel booking, and travel insurance documents. Keep them in your carry-on.

Arrive at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny International Airport (ABJ)
Most flights from Mongolia will connect through Istanbul or Paris. At Abidjan airport, follow signs to 'Immigration' or 'E-visa' counters. Present your passport, printed e-visa, and return ticket. You'll be stamped in.
