Arrive at Bujumbura International Airport or land border
Head to the immigration counter. There's a separate queue for visa on arrival. At Bujumbura, it's usually the last counter on the left.

Submit your passport and pay the fee
Hand over your passport and the visa fee in cash (USD or EUR). The officer will process the visa sticker. This takes 5–15 minutes.

Receive your visa and enter
Once the sticker is in your passport, you're cleared. Keep the receipt if given one. You're free to enter Burundi.
